Wednesday Inspiration:: Old Sheet Music

This post is going to sound a lot like last week's Wednesday Inspiration, so sorry in advance. :) This past weekend, a friend and I went out again to do a little antiquing. I got a flyer in the mail for this 'funky junk' market in Franklin. I wasn't sure if they were going to have anything good, but was intrigued.

I was very pleasantly surprised. There was a ton of really cool stuff! The market was set up on a farm and a lot of the vendors were set up in one of the barns. I totally meant to bring my camera to snap a few pics, but forgot :( The Decorologist captured some images from the market including this picture of the barn and one of the vendors.

There was lots of rustic decor, cool antique/vintage items, local artists with their paintings, a few food vendors and some live music. It was super fun and I came away with a couple of old miniature spindles (which I'm hoping to use as candlesticks maybe) and some old sheet music.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the sheet music yet. I'm thinking about incorporating it into my bedroom decor once we move. Since I have quite a few pages, I'm hoping I can make multiple projects out of them and use them elsewhere as well.

Here are just some of the fun ideas I've found.

Use them to make something for the shop like cupcake wrappers.

Wrap candles.

Add some fall decor to my coffee filter wreath with paper leaves.

Create some fun Christmas decor.

Or create some sort of silhouette artwork.

Aren't the leaves in the coffee filter wreath adorable? I think that might be my first project! :)
