Birthday Gift- Rosette Headbands

This weekend I went out of town for my little cousin's 3rd birthday party.

I don't have any siblings, so I like to think of my little 2nd cousins as my faux nephews and niece :)

The youngest of my little cousins turned 3 last week and we celebrated with family on Saturday. I made this rosette necklace not too long ago. Her mom showed it to her and she thought it was really pretty. She even left me a voicemail telling me how pretty she thought it was :)

So for her birthday, I knew I had to make some little something with fabric rosettes.

I decided to make some rosette headbands.

I got some pastel colored fabric and stretch headbands from a local craft store.

I also used some of the brown fabric I already had from making my rosette ring.

I made 2 fabric rosettes for each headband, one slightly larger than the other.

I then cut out circular pieces of beige felt that were slightly smaller than each rosette.

I hot glued the felt circle on one side of the headband and the rosette on the other.

And there you have it. Three adorable headbands.

And here's the little birthday girl herself modeling one of the headbands :)

What else can I make with fabric rosettes?
