Christmas Village & 12 Days of Christmas

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's officially the Christmas season. My mom and I a few weeks ago went to Christmas Village here in Nashville. It's held at the Tennessee Fairgrounds in November every year. There are over 250 vendors set up selling everything you can imagine: Christmas decor, handmade items, home decor, jewelry and baked goods to name a few.

I had intended to only look for gifts for other people, but of course ended up buying stuff for myself. Too many cute things!

I took some pictures as we were browsing and thought it would be fun to share some of the super cute stuff I came across.

Love the old wooden candlesticks on the left. The frames on the right are all handmade. They were a little pricey, but really really pretty!

The wooden signs on the left were all hand carved. I bought one last year that said 'Merry Christmas' and bought another one this year that said 'Amazing Grace.' All the items on the right are made from 100 year old antique ceiling tiles. They had frames, wall art, and mirrors. So unique!

I love the this ruffle tree skirt that was handmade! Reminds me of the one Miss Mustard Seed did for her Christmas tree. And we came across someone selling Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Both of these pictures were from the same booth. They had a ton of really cool vintage items. I loved the old vintage letters on the left and was trying to find a reason to need them :)

I love these wire birdcage frames on the left. They would be perfect to clip pictures to or even Christmas cards. I saw several booths that had these handmade headbands. I loved them, so I of course snagged one for myself. I actually bought the blue one you see in the picture.

There were so many cute things. I think my mom and I will make it a tradition to go every year.

And since the Christmas season is officially upon us, I thought that it would be fun to do a Christmas series here on the blog.  So for the month of December, I'll be doing the 12 Days of Christmas.

For 12 days, I'll post about all things Christmas including decorating, gift ideas, crafts and more.

I'll kick off the 12 Days of Christmas on Friday. Until then, hope you have a fabulous Monday!
