Chicken Wire Frame Tutorial

In one of my first posts, I mentioned how I wanted to create one of these chicken wire frames to use in a craft fair in the fall.

Well, now that fall is fast approaching, I decided to go ahead and get this project out of the way.

I found this frame at Goodwill (for 50% off I might add, score!) and bought some chicken wire. In case you are wondering where to get chicken wire (which I did) you can find it at Tractor Supply.

I took everything out of the frame so I could paint it.

I primed it first and then used the leftover turquoise paint from when I painted my window and shutter for my deck.

I also added some white paint with a dry brush to add a distressed look.

I cut the chicken wire to fit in the back and used a staple gun to secure it.

Now I have my very own chicken wire frame to use when I participate in a craft fair (hopefully within the next few months).

What do you think?

Now I just need to find a craft fair to sign up for ;)
