One of my favorite things is to see how people decorate their homes for Christmas. I love seeing the different styles, color schemes, and themes people choose. Some people are more traditional while others like a bit of flare! And I love that you can change it up each year.
I showed you my Christmas tree earlier this week. I thought I would show you the rest of my Christmas decorations today. Keep in mind, our apartment is pretty small, so there are only so many places to add a little bit of Christmas decor.
Since we don't have a mantle, I've been using these shelves in our living room to add seasonal decor.
The 'candlesticks' are from an antique shopping trip this past fall. I hadn't found a use for them yet, but I thought they would look perfect with the burlap stockings and 'Christmas' sign.
This is the 'Christmas' sign I mentioned buying from Christmas Village last year. I love the rustic touch!
Notice the burlap stockings? I got those from Groopdealz last month.
For me, the easiest way to add a bit of Christmas decor is to add a few ornaments here and there. On our side table I filled this display cage with leftover ornaments that weren't used on the tree. Usually this houses some mossy type filler.
I found these jumbo glass ornaments at Kirkland's one year after Christmas. I was able to get brown, gold and red to match the rest of my decor. I just throw them in a glass bowl on our coffee table and fill it with some 'Christmas-y' filler.
We also have a lamp in our kitchen that has a clear base that I filled with a few ornaments.
I bought this twigy tree at Target one year after Christmas. It's currently sitting next to our tv in our living room to add an additional Christmas glow :)
More vases and ornaments on our kitchen table.
And here's a picture of the Christmas tree again.
I'm joining and linking up to a few Christmas Home Tours. Be sure to check out some of the other amazing homes that are linked up!
